Marina Shaevich, born in Saint Petersburg, is a senior accompanist, musicologist, and piano and music theory teacher.
She began her piano studies at the age of six and later continued her education at the Mussorgsky College, Faculty of Musicology, graduating with highest honors.
In 2000, she immigrated to Israel and was admitted to the Bachelor’s program in Piano Performance and Music Education at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance, graduating with honors.
As part of her studies, she was a member of the Ram Trio and performed in concert series and festivals such as “Youth at the Centre” and the “Kol HaMusica” Festival, as well as at leading institutions including the BYO Institute and the Eden-Tamir Music Center.
The ensemble was also awarded a scholarship from the America-Israel Cultural Foundation (AICF).
In 2006, she completed a Master’s degree in Correpetition at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance, also with honors.
During her studies, she participated in masterclasses with distinguished musicians, including Boris Berman and Claude Frank, among others.
Today, she is active as an accompanist at major musical institutions, including the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance, Mishkenot Sha’ananim, Keshet Eilon, and the Hassadnah Conservatory, where she also serves as a concert presenter and as the administrative and musical director of choirs and the ensemble “Tzlilei Hassadnah”.
Marina Shaevich is a pianist, musicologist, and accompanist with extensive musical training, working with leading teachers in Israel and abroad, and regularly collaborating with soloists, ensembles, and choirs. She is recognized as a highly regarded educator and a leading figure in Israel’s musical institutions.
